If the clock you layaway goes up in price, you'll be locked in at the lower price as long as you continue to meet the programs requirements.
We make it easier on your wallet to spread out payments over a period of time. You don't have to use credit cards and you don't have to pay interest on your purchases when you use our Layaway.
When Layaway is available
The Grandfather Clock Co. Layaway program is available year round.
How it works
Opening a layaway plan is simple and requires just a few steps. To initiate a layaway, place an order online or over the phone and choose "Layaway" as the method of payment. One of our reps will call you to discuss the program and options of payment. There is no fee required for a layaway. All you need to do is make a small down payment of 10% of the asking prices.
You can make additional payments anytime by either sending a check or calling us with a credit card. You can pay monthly, weekly, or bi-weekly at your discretion.

Make sure you read the fine print about our layaway program to avoid any unnecessary surprises:
Layaway is only available on items over $500.
The initial layaway is 10% of the total purchase price.
A layaway can be cancelled at any time. All payments are refunded minus a $20 cancellation fee.
All purchases must be paid in full within 6 months.
If the item is not paid in full within 6 months, a refund will be given minus a $20 cancellation fee.
Bad check fees are the responsibility of the customer and will be added to the price of the clock. If the layaway is cancelled, these fees, in addition to the cancellation fee, will be subtracted from the refund.
Once the item is paid in full, your item will ship within 2-3 business days.
The Grandfather Clock Co make no guarantees the clock you purchased will be available at the time your layaway is paid in full. If your clock is discontinued, you will be refunded the full amount you've paid and the cancellation fee will be waived.
